The Souvenir is a humorous account of American furniture salesmen shopping for curios
before a cruise down the Amazon. From almost 1,200 entries worldwide, it was long-listed
for the Sunday Times-EFG Private Bank award in 2010. At £30,000, open only to professional
authors, the award is the biggest short story prize in the world.
